Presave (Spotify) and Pre-adds (Apple Music) should be an important part of your pre-release campaign.
Specific digital tools can allow you to connect fans with your music ahead of digital release. By opting-in to a Presave campaign via a custom landing page, fans will often:
Have your track/album added to their streaming library automatically on release
Be added as a follower of your artist page on their chosen platform
Be added as a follower of a playlist created by you on their chosen platform
Provide their email address and permission for it to be used in marketing communications
There are a number of digital platforms that can you can use to generate a Presave/Pre-add landing pages, including Presave.io, Toneden and Show.co.

PRE AND POST RELEASE SOCIAL SHARE
Social media should be a key driver pre and post-release of your music. It can be used to promote music to your fans and also to acknowledge support from DSPs to further develop relationships with curators and key platforms. Make sure you post about any playlist additions; key streaming milestones; and generally anything that contributes to positive momentum around your release.
