Artist Intro | Ruben Pol

Backed by his ever-growing portfolio as a high fashion model, 22-year-old Dutch artist Ruben Pol combines his creative eye, unique voice, and songwriting abilities across the 7 tracks on his debut EP ‘Infused Romance’, released in early September 2019.

Adding to the success of Ruben’s initial single releases ‘Infused Romance’ has now been streamed nearly a million times across all platforms in just a few short weeks, with a fresh yet mature brand of chilled electro pop belying his youth.

Regarding the lead single ‘too late’, Ruben said: “[it’s] about coming to terms with the fact that moving on in a relationship isn’t an option anymore. It can’t be saved, and letting go is the only possible option.”

Ruben has been writing and performing songs his entire life - although it wasn’t until the summer of 2018 that he formally launched his artist project with the unveiling of debut single ‘Bed Sheets’. Wonderland Magazine described the track as a “beautiful brooding new single full of emotive lyrics” and tipped Pol as one to watch.

Songwriting and singing are just two of the many talents the 22-year-old Dutchman has in his arsenal. In 2015 Ruben was scouted to become a fashion model. In that same year, he opened and closed the Dior Homme SS16 show as a worldwide exclusive and has since walked and shot for brands such as Dior, Fendi, Jil Sander, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Burberry and many more.
