Xtra Mile Recordings Celebrates 16th Anniversary
Home to Frank Turner, Skinny Lister, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Brand New Friend, Trapper Schoepp, Johnny Lloyd and many others, independent label Xtra Mile Recordings will celebrate 16 years of operations in 2019 with several special events, releases to mark the milestone.
February 15th saw the first of these events take place at London’s Omeara venue, with an Xtra Mile label night in partnership with War Child and their BRITs Week initiative.
Xtra Mile will also be hosting an afternoon pre-party party with live music and DJ sets from their roster prior to Frank Turner’s arena show at Alexandra Palace on February 3rd.
Similar events in the form of after-show parties are planned throughout February, March and April following headline shows from Seán McGowan and Skinny Lister, with a trip across the pond for Frank Turner’s 4-day Lost Evenings III festival at the House Of Blues in Boston, MA for a special Xtra Mile Label and Friends night on Sunday May 19th.
